he Mom was looking for a bracelet made with unusual stones (watermelon
tumbling or something like that). She went looking on the internet and found one which she paid mucho
dinero for. She got it in the mail and decided she could make the same thing. Then she started scouring
the Ebay auctions because where we used to live there aren't any REAL bead stores (as opposed to?).
This became an obsession to her so she spent tons of money on beads and supplies. We watched her work
day and night on her
crap "creations", and to our amazement she even sold a few to a
salon where she used to get her claws done.

We refuse to discuss the wedding.
hen she sold her first pieces everything else went to the dogs . At that time, she was working full
time and spending every spare moment with those stoopid stinkin' beads. She then quit her job and still
had no time for us kids. The "Beagle's Nest" was not a happy place as far as the four of us Kay9s were
concerned. I, Bubba, (the stud beagle) called a meeting on the porch one day and suggested that we do
something about the situation. We were not feeling satisfied just doing dog things all day and needed a
new challenge. We came up with an idea for a family-run company and would call it "Bare Bonz Designs"
referring to cheep paw-made jewelry. We thought we had a wiener winner when we presented
it to her, but she told us we were barking up the wrong tree. She did agree to consider the company
idea. Well, we hounded her until she finally gave in and a friend of her's gave our company the
name "Earth By Design" (Thanks, Shelly). I did have a paw in coming up with her Ebay name which we
recently changed to our company name.
We informed this cat that there was no such thing as Santa Claws

We were grounded for a month after pulling that one.
o we started selling on Ebay. The Dad whom we lovingly call "The Redneck" makes the post
office runs, since the Arkansas Highway Patrol frowns at kay9's operating a moving vehicle. Plus the
fact that I can't reach the gas or brake pedals on the truck without assistance from someone laying on
the floor. We are truly honored to be in the company of some of the most creative and talented people
we have ever seen since we started selling on Ebay. Just recently, The Mom has been
messing around working very hard on our very own web page. Ofcourse, I have been trying to
teach her the finer points of webmastering but sometimes she can be so dense
muleheaded. I just hope it gets finished someday. So there you have "BubbasJewels" we hope you get as
much frustration enjoyment out of wearing our creations as we had making them.
Our"Studio"

Pathetic isn't it? And it was just straightened up.
ur creations are not in any galleries, boutiques, shows, malls or the Smithsonian Institute. We
have not been featured in any magazine (I did lay a bracelet on our "TV Guide" one time just to get the
feel of it). Cher has never heard of us and Beulah who owns a beauty parlor in town hasn't either. So
we are pretty much exclusive to eBay, Wallyworld parking lots (no that wasn't me wearing a raincoat) an
occasional cornfield and now, our very own corner of the internet. We take pride in our work so all of
Bubba's jewelry is designed and created with care and attention to detail (Beagles are known to be
anal). The beads that are used in Bubba's designs are genuine and are purchased from reputable dealers
and talented artists from around the world. The findings that are used are made of sterling silver, 14K
gold, 14 kt gold-filled, gold vermeil (14 or 18 kt gold layered over sterling silver), or pewter.
Bubba's necklaces, bracelets, anklets and sun catchers are strung on Soft-Flex® or Soft-
Touch® wire (49 strands of nylon coated stainless steel cord which amazingly enough, doesn't
kink like tiger tail that other stuff). With proper care (as with any jewelry), our creations
should last quite awhile. We "surf"the internet on a regular basis and it is rich with handcrafted
items so please support these talented artists, just keep in mind what it took to make these items
(most are one of a kind and cannot be found at any retail store). Picture the endless hours, maxed out
credit cards for materials, endless cups of coffee and aspirin, not to mention booze no clean
clothes or food in the house. Thank you for taking the time to look at our webpage and please do not
hesitate to bark-mail us about anything. Bubba enjoys and checks his emaul daily. Bubba pleads the
fifth.
